In the making

IsoSym

Ethical and Equitable.

An ethical home for ebooks and courses. IsoSym is being built so that you pay once, own what you finish and bank what you don’t.

An open book, a steaming cup and a pair of glasses on a low table in front of a worn armchair and a bright window.
How it works

Pay once. Own what you finish. Bank what you don’t.

01

Pay once

One payment per ebook or course, with no repeat charges at every page break.

02

Own what you finish

Sections unlock as you complete genuine checkpoints, which ask for a real response rather than time on the page. There is no pass or fail.

03

Bank what you don’t

Still working through this? No rush. Pick up where you left off, or bank the rest as credit to spend on something else. Both choices carry equal weight.

The method

F.A.I.R.

Four steps behind everything IsoSym does.

Finish

Finish at your natural tempo. Whatever you complete stays unlocked permanently, with nothing to renew. Genuine checkpoints, never time on the page, are what open the next section.

Acknowledge

An unfinished resource is not your personal failure or a wasted purchase. Pace is measured against your own rhythm, and we check in before anything changes.

Invest

Unused portions convert to credit pro rata, never silently, and every rule is explained upfront. No hoops, and no forms to fill in.

Redeem

Spend your credit on something new from any participating creator, on the same terms as any other purchase.

For creators

Aligned and Certified

Creators who work this way can show it. Aligned means a creator has worked through our checklist, declares that they follow the principles, and is spot-checked. Certified means the principles are built into how their content works, either by running on IsoSym or by passing an audit.

IsoSym is being built in stages, and we will share news first through The Curious Brew.
